As a non-member we are unable to provide individual responses to identification queries via email. However, you can try and identify the invertebrate yourself through the following resources on the AES Web site:

iSpot

iSpot is a Web site aimed at helping anyone identify anything in nature. Once you've registered, you can add an observation to the Web site and suggest an identification yourself or see if anyone else can identify it for you. Members of the Amateur Entomologists' Society are very active on iSpot providing identifications in a variety of areas. Visit: https://www.ispotnature.org/

iNaturalist

If you are outside the UK then iNaturalist provides a place to record and organise nature findings, meet other nature enthusiasts, and learn about the natural world. Visit: https://www.inaturalist.org/
